HOW TO PLAY
To win the Take 5 Jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn.
1. FIND A RETAILER.
Check out our map and head to the nearest New York Lottery retailer!
2. CHOOSE YOUR NUMBERS: QUICK PICK OR PICK YOUR OWN.
Quick Pick is the easiest way to play. Ask for a Quick Pick and the computer will choose random numbers for you. Skip right to Step 4.
If you’d rather choose your own numbers, grab a Take 5 playslip.
Each game is $1.
3. FILL OUT YOUR PAYSLIP AND HAND IT TO THE RETAILER.
Choose five numbers from 1 to 39. Find these in the pink section of each playslip, and fill them in with a black or blue pen, or a pencil. Hand your completed play slip over to the retailer to receive your ticket in return.
4. GET YOUR TICKET.

5. WATCH FOR THE TAKE 5 RESULTS, AND SEE IF YOU’VE WON!

Try your numbers again. Give your ticket to a retailer within 30 days to purchase an identical ticket for the next drawing.
ADVANCE PLAY
Play the same numbers for up to 7 draws when you purchase Advance Play. Fill in the Multi Draws option on the playslip, or tell your retailer when you choose Quick Pick.
INSTANT WIN
Match one or more of your numbers to any of the Instant Win numbers and collect your prize right away! You’ll receive another ticket with your numbers for the nightly drawing. Instant Win is $1.
